2010, a new decade for Trident Studios

2010 started off with a bang for us with plenty of ADR; for TV, film and even computer games. For the new decade we've even changed our web/email address to make it more in keeping with our services - info@tridentaudiopost.com. Don't forget though that whatever your needs in sound, the team here at Trident are best suited to help with a diverse experience in all things audio post - Voice Overs, ADR, mixing, sound design, sound processing...

SKINS FOR CHANNEL4

Skins has kicked off its 4th series now on E4 and the season's premiere gathered over 1million viewers, which for a Freeview channel at 10pm at night is amazing! It even beat the season premiere of A Diary Of A Call Girl in the same timeslot over on ITV2. Guests stars recording ADR here at Trident have included Will Young and Hugo Speer. The ADR for the season is now coming to an end for us, but we look forward to working with the Skins team again if a new series comes along. Read more about the show here. 

 

Studio 1 film commentaries

THE IMAGINARIUM OF DOCTOR PARNASSUS

Moving on from DVDs and extra narrative tracks, Blu-ray discs can now contain Video Commentaries instead (that appear picture-in-picture along with the film), and for the Terry Gilliam film The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus, Terry was filmed for the film's disc release in our studio 1. Apart from being an excellent film, it is also known for being the last film that Heath Ledger ever made making the commentary even more revealing into how the production carried on in light of its lead actor passing away halfway through filming. Available at the end of March to buy.
