We have moved!

17 St Anne's Court has been home to a studio since the swinging 60s, when the Sheffield brothers opened 'Trident Studios' in 1968. The original Trident ceased operating out of No17 sometime in the early 80s, and then it was run by several other studio owners, finally closing in the late 80s.

We as 'Trident Sound Studio' have been operating out of the same address since 1993, and it is now in 2020, amidst the chaos of COVID-19, that we have moved across Soho to fresh new-build studios.

We are not sure of No17's future: who will take on the space? Will it be another studio? Who knows.

However one thing is sure, we have loved all the tourists over the years flocking to our building to see the door that so many great musicians have walked through to record legendary tracks, and we have loved working in the space where they were created.

The history of Trident is now history itself for us; we continue on with bigger and brighter things across Soho @ 33 Great Pulteney Street where we have 4 new mix rooms, the main one being capable for Dolby Atmos. You can read more about it in our other blog post here.
